Who Are We?
Great Performers School of Piano and Music (GPS) is a family owned music school in SW Houston. The owner, Buddy Brents, has taught piano for more than 25 years in America and Japan. He is married to Melanie Brents and together they have four adult children. Buddy has a music education degree ( K-12). He has taught in public and private schools where he has begun piano music programs. The Great Performers School of Piano and Music also includes other teachers for guitar and voice.
The Great Performers School of Piano and Music (GPS) participates annually in the State Gold Cup Festival and Competition. This nationally recognized event is part of the National Federation of Music Schools. Great Performers School is proud to present 19 All-State winner over the past 6 years! Our school's quality and care for young musicians is a hallmark we hope to pass on to your new performer.
